The basis for our work

One spectacular result of our research is the recombinant human growth and differentiation factor rhGDF-5. We at Biopharm regard rhGDF-5 primarily as an innovative medical principle, a growth factor that can potently intervene in cell differentiation at an early stage. This factor has the ability to accelerate many endogenous regeneration processes - in the locomotor system, in the peripheral and central nervous systems (neurology), in the induction of blood vessels (angiogenesis) and in wound and skin regeneration (dermatology and cosmetics).

rhGDF-5 is a full characterized substance, which has already been submitted to many tests. Biopharm possesses a complete Drug Master File (DMF). This includes comprehensive preclinical information, including toxicology. This has already been submitted to the American FDA and the European health authorities.

The protein is availabe in GMP quality.
